Frame Clamp Locations

Frame Clamp Assembly (UFC1000IP + UFCOP) installed on 1 inch diameter tubing on lightweight manual wheelchair.

Frame Clamp Outer Piece moved up and forwards using Offset Link.

UFCSTIP - Frame Clamp Inner Piece for Storm series wheelchairs, tubing size 1-3/8" by 2-1/4" installed with Offset Link and Frame Clamp Outer Piece. The UFCSTIP may be installed above or below the rectangular tubing and can be placed well forward near the caster wheel or further back.

Frame Clamp Assembly mounted on lower frame tube on wheelchair very close to the caster wheel. The height adjustment available by moving the Index Clamp on the Vertical Tube will be limited to the distance between the bottom of the outer piece and the caster wheel as described in the text.

The Frame Clamp Assembly has been moved further back on the same lower tube as the preceding picture to clear the caster wheel.

The Frame Clamp has been moved to an upper tube on the same wheelchair as the two previous pictures. The Vertical Tube can be shorter than in the two previous locations and several inches of height adjustment by moving the Index Clamp is possible. Front-to-back adjustment of several inches is also possible on this wheelchair.

Not visible in this view are the two Frame Clamp Spacers (UFCSPCR) used to move the Rear Folding Adapter out to clear the brake lever.

Frame Clamp Assembly for the LOCKING SWING-AWAY MOUNT using two Offset Links to mover the outer piece up and forward. The height adjustment available by moving the Locking Swing Away Index Clamp (ICLSA) on the vertical section of the tube will be limited by the caster wheel.

Frame Clamp Inner Piece for 1 inch square tube attached directly to the seat frame with one Offset Link moving the outer piece still higher.

The Side Mount Frame Clamp Inner Piece (UFCxxxxSMIP) may be attached to a tube that is not readily accessible on all sides.

The Side Mount Frame Clamp Inner Piece can be clamped onto a tube that is not straight. The picture shows it attached to the frame of a lightweight manual wheelchair.
