Quick Release Bases
The Quick Release Base is the component that attaches to the top or main tube of the mount and receives the adapted device. Quick Release Bases are available in various styles with different functionalities. Quick Release Base styles for attachment to other locations are available to expand the possibilities of supporting a device in different places.
The front ‘face’ of the Quick Release Base has an arc ridge the device adapter fits into and a spring-operated lock pin that secures the device. The original regular size face is well suited for large communication devices; an alternate small face is available in some quick release base styles and is well suited for smaller devices.

The Rotate Base Quick Release allows real-time tilt rotation for the angle of the device. No tools are necessary to make adjustments, the position is held by set friction. When a locked tile angle position is required use of an Articulating Quick Release Base or Sideways Tilting Quick Release Base would be better suited.
